New Yorkers love their brunch. So much so that Brooklyn is hosting it’s first BrunchCon this March which will include delectable eats from 50 of NYC’s hottest brunch spots. Can you say #brunchgoals?! 1. Sunday in BrooklynWilliamsburg

Neighborhood cafe situated on the south side of Williamsburg that serves brunch daily! Their menu has everything from light fare such as avocado toast to heartier dishes like steak and eggs. Plan ahead because the wait time at this bustling spot can be on the longer side.

 

2. Oficina 1MNolita

Nestled on the corner of Broome and Mott, Officina 1M is sometimes overlooked and passed by because of the abundance of restaurant options in the area. However, don’t underestimate this little corner gem. Most of the items are influenced by traditional Italian dishes. The menu includes several flavorful panini and pizza options as well as traditional brunch fare (think ricotta pancakes).

 

3. Bubby’s, TriBeCa & Highline

A New York classic, this restaurant started in TriBeCa back in 1990! They’ve been going strong ever since and in recent years expanded to a second location on the Highline. Comforting dishes with hearty portions, you’ll never leave this place hungry. Be sure to try the pancakes and you’ll quickly be craving this place on a weekly basis.

 

4. Union FareUnion Square

Industrial restaurant and modern gastrohall that’s located smack dab in the middle of Union Square. Satisfy your inner kid cravings with fruity pebble croissants and apple jax poptarts. Or try something you’ve probably never heard of anywhere else – chicken & carrot cake waffles. This large restaurant spans a full block and is bustling with hip foodies and casual locals alike.

 

5. The SmithMultiple locations

With multiple locations around NYC, the Smith is easy to get to and is always reliable for quality food and a great atmosphere. Interior is decked out with black and white tiles and usually adorned with a trendy crowd seen sipping bloody marys and mimosas. This is a great place to go with a group of close friends to enjoy a hearty burger or a ranchero scramble.
